There is some debate as to the source of the title of this song. Is it a type of flower? Or a maritime poem by H. Carey? It has even been suggested that this song is about Siouxsie Sioux (from dark band Siouxsie and The Banshees), who recorded the single "Interlude" with Morrissey. Apparently this song is influenced by a song called "Susan" by sixties band The Buckinghams. There is an alternative version with a longer instrumental interlude where the repetition of 'one day/someday' goes on for a few seconds longer than in the official version. Link: YT Video

Vi è una discussione in corso per la fonte del titolo di questa canzone. Un poema marittimo di H. Carey? Un tipo di fiore? E' stato persino suggerito che questo testo abbia a che fare con Siouxsie Sioux (della band dark Siouxsie and The Banshees), che insieme a Morrissey ha inciso il singolo "Interlude". Sembra inoltre che il brano sia stato influenzato da un pezzo "Susan" di una band degli anni Sessanta chiamata The Buckinghams. Esiste una versione alternativa con un intermezzo strumentale più lungo dove la ripetizione di "one day/someday" va avanti per alcuni secondi in più rispetto alla versione ufficiale. Link: YT Video
