Should he enter without hesitation or wait to be drawn or attracted into the shop? The answer, the conclusion he reaches, is simple: he can have everything he wants, there is no one to stop him, except himself. There is no need to worry about the limitations imposed by morality, culture, society and role models. There is no need to choose, he can have whatever he wants.

Morrissey riflette sulla potenza del desiderio, sui pregiudizi e sui limiti auto-imposti, usando una metafora piuttosto diretta di un cliente che guarda attraverso la vetrina di un negozio di prelibatezze. Al cospetto di tante meraviglie mille dubbi lo assalgono su cosa prendere e come farlo. Quale prodotto acquistare, prenderne uno soltanto o più di uno assecondando il proprio desiderio? Entrare senza indugi o attendere di essere attratto o attirato all'interno del negozio? La risposta, la conclusione, cui giunge è semplice: può avere tutto quello che vuole, non c'è nessuno che lo impedisca, tranne se stesso. Basta farsi mille problemi a causa dei limiti che la morale, la cultura, la società, i modelli impongono. Non c'è bisogno di scegliere, può avere ciò che vuole.
